5.1 2015 Proposed Food Service Operation/Retail Food Establishment Fees - PUBLIC HEARING

A public hearing will be held and a second reading of proposed fees in the food service operation/retail food establishment program for the license year 2015.  


5.2 Future of Public Health in Crawford County

The Crawford County Board of Health met on Novemer 19, 2014, and voted unanimously to continue the process towards unification of the County and City Health Districts. A meeting was set for Monday, December 8, for the chief executives and legal representatives of Galion, Bucyrus, and Crawford County to discuss merger and begin drafting a contract. A status report and information will be presented by Mr. O'Leary and Law Director Thomas Palmer.

Attachment 1 is the updated Monthly Bills & Income report for October. Attachments 2 and 3 are the financial reports for November. The November expense report was not available from the Finance Department as of close of business on Friday, December 5. It will be posted as soon as it becomes available. 


5.4 Environmental Services Contract

The currently-vacant Environmental Health Director position was posted through various media outlets in November, but the posts were removed when it became apparent the Galion City and Crawford County Health Departments would be merging. The need for assistance in environmental health remains. The Board will be asked to consider extending the existing contract with Joette Moore until December 31, 2015. 


5.5 Manufactured Home Park Inspection MOU

The Ohio Manufactured Homes Commission is requesting renewal for 2015 of the MOU for conducting annual inspection of manufactured home parks licensed by the Commission.

Chlamydia - 5 (58 YTD); 

                2 cases had one (1) previous treatment, 1 case had two (2) previous treatments

                4 cases were seen at Galion Community Hospital ER, 1 case was seen at private health care provider

Hepatitis B - 1 (4 YTD)

                This case has a previous diagnosis of Hepatitis C

Gonococcal - 2 (6 YTD)
